Try a prop calculator such as https://rbbi.com/folders/prop/propcalc.htm . There are lots of Pilot performance figures on Members Pages - Performance Database of this HOC website. Peter

Hi folks
looking for some advice if anyone has it
I bought a wee Hardy pilot 20 ( THE PUP ) think its an SE but don't know what the difference is, it is fitted with a MD22 volvo inboard non turbo so i think its 60 HP approx.
I have had the engine and leg out and full o/h.
Running like a sweetie now and delighted with the boat.
BUT lol not sure if its the correct prop size as i,am only getting top speed 6 KNOTS.
And same speed at 2500 RPM as max revs which is 3500 RPM.
Would appreciate any advice / thoughts that anyone has.
thanks in advance
cheers
Derek
