Hi Tony ,
Not had any issues using CQR plough anchor. I use small rope tied to bow rails to keep plough straight.

I am looking for a new anchor for my Pilot 20 and have experience of different anchors on different boats in the past. Some work well for me and some do not.
One consideration, but not the most important, is how well the anchor sits on the stem roller on the bow.
What anchors have other members found that sit well on the standard bow roller on a Pilot 20.
