Thanks to all who advised re. a replacement key for the Pilot.
The locksmith at Thurrock was able to make one and it works perfectly.

Anthony...I visited the locksmith that you recommended today and they are confident that they can make a copy.

No problems John.
Just thinking, near our mooring Grays, Essex is a proper locksmith shop called "Keyway". Maybe give them a call or send photo of blank?

Anthony, thanks for the link to a previous thread. It appears that the key blank is not economic to source from Sweden.
I'll just get a new lock and fit it myself .It only screws on to the back of the hatch board .

I've already tried Timpsons but they couldn't do it. I'll try sending a picture of the key in case anyone has duplicated one.

John, I don't know what the Pilot 20 key looks like but Timpson's have cut duplicate keys for a 27 and a 32 for me in the past. They have a wide range of non-domestic blanks.
