Loads of products on the market for restoring shine to blue gelcoat. I have been using same products for last 10 seasons, which has served me well.
Meguiars Ulitmate Compound.
Farecla UV wax.
Silverline machine polisher, foam pads and wool polish pad all helped.

I used maguiars ultimate polish it has micro beads to give cut and polish. Plenty of elbow grease with soft cloth afterwards

I don't know whether they still do but Hardy used to sell the blue gelcoat and hardener (it's gelcoat rather than paint, so you need to know what you're doing). By coincidence, I've polished my blue stripe only today; albeit very light oxidation/chalkiness, I used Starbrite Heavy Duty Cleaner and Wax; it has come up very well with hand application only and not much elbow grease. I might do it again with a rotary polisher.

Hi Jenny,
The best compound is G3 and a electric polishing machine and a lot of elbow grease and patience.
I have done a lit of them over the years and I was a employee of Hardy marine for 7 years.

Can anyone suggest the best polish/wax to use on the Hardy Blue? Our seems to have a dull blue/grey surface. Nothing we've tried seems to make it gleam. Is it possible to get the Hardy blue touch up paint?
