Ahoy Kenny,
I did this as well and you are quite right, it makes such a difference. I am also going to try that Einszett Rubber protection "GummiPflege" that is used on cars, to try and stop the rubber deteriorating due to UV and weathering. Because of the extremes in temperature we've been having of late, I know how the rubber seals can shrink and crack and I want to try and do something to prevent this now I've gone to the all bother of replacing both my windows and their seals. I know that Maplins do a version as well, but I've heard a lot of good things about the German stuff. I will let you know how I get on.

My windows looks nearly new. Just replaced the white infill strips to existing window seals. Photo attached.
Got infills from sealsdirect.co.uk Remember to order fitting tool. Old infills were dull and faded. Pretty easy to fit once you get the hang of it. Using plenty of soapy water makes fitting much easier.
