Hi Paul, Welcome aboard, lovely boats the 20 Bosuns.
Not particularly familiar with the construction of the Bosun boats but it's likely there are hull strenghthening ribs and partitions under the floor and anything like our Hardy MS will also be connected and extend under the cabin floor. These areas can trap water and can be difficult to access and drain fully.
A previous cruiser of ours (a Norman 20) had a lot of such areas, any water getting into the under floor area could remain trapped, the only way we found we could get it out was to get the boat on the plane every now and again so all the water trapped would rush to the stern and fill the sump well area below the inboard engine bay where it could then be removed, otherwise it would remain trapped.Perhaps a number of buckets worth every time depending upon how much rain there had been over previous weeks.
Is the water you are removing 'fresh' or discoloured? (Usually yellowish if been standing some time)
You don't say how much you are removing each time, is it a bucket or two or three etc, is it decreasing over time or not?
For sure this water has to be coming from somewhere, I assume you don't have a fresh water tank fitted aboard and it may be leaking.
I also assume you have the boat undercover as you say stored in the dry, so from that we could eliminate rain water which as you know will find it's way onto boats through deck fittings, canopies and the like.
I am sure I have read comments by other Hardy owners stating they have discovered trapped water below the floor in similar boats, so it may be worth you investigating the message board archives and the like.Good luck with your problem and let us know what you find!

Greetings to all members. I have just joined. I have many questions for the forum.
I purchased a Hardy 20 Bosun in November last year.
After getting it home and exploring it I discovered about two inches of water in the compartment
under the cock pit floor. Nothing unusual there, I have had sailing boats for over forty years.
Pumped it out, bone dry, job done.
Two days later more water. Raised the front of the trailer to make sure any water left would drain
to the stern. Pumped it, bone dry.
Next day, not as much but still water in the compartment.
I have been through this procedure many times and today there is still some water.
From the day I got her home it has been on its trailer and stored in the dry.
Any ideas?
Best regards, Paul.
