If you look at the cabin top post below it could be the same as you're looking at, ie a conversion.

In my quest for a Navigator I have come across one with a solid wheel house roof. no hatch of any sort. First I've seen like this. Is this from a particular year of manufacture or simply a modification that's been made after construction?
