Hi Martin, I was an employee of Hardy Marine from 1983 to 1990 and we used to mould our own stands to sit the boat on when they were out in the yard at the factory and for use at the boat shows the boat used to go to. You could ask at the yard in North Walsham if they have any of the stands still laying round the yard or cvould mould one for Hardy owners such as yourself to use while your boats are out over the winter. Kind Regards Simon Papendick

Thanks Kenny, I should have made it plain that I meant legs/supports. I've got the blocks to sit the keel on but need to be able to support the hull. Martin

* Martin, Can't help with boat stands I'm afraid. I find best way is sleeper blocks to take full weight and legs to steady hull. Small, medium and large legs are normal. Small legs usually 600mm - 900mm, which should be suitable for Pilot. You can alway sit legs on blocks if required, if a bit on short side. Have also used logs/wedges only at midships, as need proper support legs at transom. Photo attached. Good luck. Kenny

I want to get my River Pilot out of the water this winter; does anyone know what size boat stands are needed? Does anyone have a set of stands that they would be prepared to lend, sell, or hire out - within reach of Reading? Many thanks Martin
