We had to give somebody a tow out of trouble at the weekend and in doing so, the line wrapped around our stainless flag staff, displacing it. I watched it sink quickly beyond reach. I am ordering a new, wooden one, Does anybody know what the standard diameter for the staff holder is on a Mariner? the options seem to be 60mm or 80mm. I am away from the boat at the moment but I'd like to order one before we leave for an extended trip next week.
