Hi - hope that someone might be able to help. I have been trying to get a new fender rope made for my mariner but I have had 2 different diameters quoted. Chatham master rope makers have said it is 64mm but will swell the it is spun onto the core but SSCS have told me that it needs to be a 72mm rope. I measured the old one and it seems to be about 89mm but that is old and partly rotten. Thanks for any help you can give.
