Very helpful input from Hardy and sourced a new one quoted at £343 but alternatively suggested that I find a local fabricator who could re-weld and re-polish. Did so and now good as new cost £25.

http://juststainless.co.uk/ventilation_grilles.asp Morgan, I don't know if you managed to source your part - and I must admit I have no idea of the size or shape you require - but the website above provides a host of different stainless steel parts (including vents) and the possibility for bespoke items. Might be worth a search through the "thumbnail pictures" Thanks, Tony

Hi Morgan. Looking online a few different vents were fitted over time. The 2000 vents are not something I've seen elsewhere. They may have been made especially for Hardy. They currently use Alumium Vetus vents. Have a word with Rachel Ley at Hardy Marine - Hopefully Rachel will be able to check the build records and find out if they can get a replacement. Otherwise you maybe looking at fitting a large Vetus vent or have a new one made in stainless. Best Regards Simon.
