I have just sent my Navionics Platinum+ card to Navionics UK to be part-exchanged for a new updated one and can confirm that the 10% HOC discount still applies. The exchange price includes a year's Freshmaps online updating; I asked whether there was any advantage in exchanging the card over paying almost the same price to extend the Freshmaps access for a further year and was told: "The benefit of sending it back will be that all the Platinum features will be updated. If you do it online only the Nautical Charts will be updated and not the 3D view, satellite overlay and pilot books and pictures." I have also used the Navionics UK card exchange with other cards in their range. The part-exchange (50% of the price of a new card) can also be done at Navionics dealers but without the HOC discount.
