Have now tried the 1001 Troubleshooter Ultra and it has certainly improved the marks on the headlinings, but not removed them totally. However, we can now live with them! Thanks to Simon Kidd for the idea. Julie

Hi Simon, Still waiting for warmer weather to spend longer at the boatyard with Adele. Basic clean up done, we're in the process of varnishing locker lids, new jockey wheel fitted on the trailer, carpet cut ready, new curtains ready to put up and a host of gear ready to fit...sea toilet, water tank, bilge pump etc!!! Hoping to try the 1001 soon...I bought two bottles just in case!! I'll let you know how it works. Many thanks, Julie

Hi Julie. Indeed - I didn't put two and two together for a while there! How is Adele? I hope you're getting on with her well! Do try the 1001 troubleshooter - it made a big differenece to my Navigator. You may still have a little staining- hopefull much reduced, but it is amazing stuff - a little whiffy though - so make sure you have good ventilation If you're still not happy then let me know and I'll email over photos of Anakara's refitted interior. Best Regards Simon.

Hi Juile. My Navigator has the old "Sack Cloth" type finish. I used "1001 Troubleshooter Ultra" and had fair results - it's now pretty tidy and satisfactory. I was careful not to make the headling too damp though, it's not a tough material when old! The wheelhouse lining was beyond redemption and was replaced with white foam backed Vinyl. The linings in my old shared River Pilot "Anakara" were also replaced with foam backed vinyl with excellent results. A little tricky to do but really well worth the effort. Best Regards Simon.

Can anyone recommend a product to clean dark marks/patches from the headlining of our Family Pilot 20? Caused by damp, I think. I have tried Vanish Upholstery cleaner and Scotchguard cleaner. I am considering using spray fabric paint, if I can't clean it. The fabric itself is in good condition. Julie
