Does anyone have any tips on lowering and raising mast on Hardy M/S. By removing the bottom bolt it will pivot above cabin but heavy and not sure whether cabin roof will take standing weight of person(s) managing mast.

Hello Donald my 537 motor sailor has a winch mounted on the tabernacle . with the wire attached to the bottom of the mast. the bottom bolt is removed upper loosened , then winched down . will take some pic,s next time im down to my boat . but if you boat is the smae as mine roof more than strong enough to stand the weight of one oerson at least . hope this helps Regards Mark
