Blimey James, Cillit will have you on TV next promoting their products. Well done mate. I'll give it a go myself.

Sorry, not a guest but not sure where my membership number is!.. anyway just had great success cleaning my chromed "Hardy" signs so I thought I would share.... I have a Hardy Mariner, but I believe these chrome signs are used in most Hardy's currently produced. Well the signs were basically quite dull, I have tried cleaning with metal polish but to not much success. So as my boat is out the water I unscrewed them and took them home. After considering attacking them with brasso I decided just to try Cillet Bang Grime & Lime cleaner a go to just see what it would do.... Gave the metal plates a good covering, left for about a minute then scrubbed well with a washing up brush for another minute, then rinsed off the cleaning solution and they have come up like new.. very easy and very effective!
