No problems Bob, It made such a difference to our boating life and as it is small and requires the absolute minimum of gas it is ideal. Don't know where you berth but if you ever see us with Sovereign Star do pop round and let me know how you are getting on. Sue

Further to my comment I have just gone to search and there is quite a bit of info on camping forums and the like. I did find a telephone number as well .....01953 789175.For interest there was also chat on wheat free diets too. I used D & F promotions + double skillet as the criteria.

Hi Bob, Sorry to have taken longer than I thought to get the details of something I had onboard our Marina 25.and now transferred to our new boat. I had a hunt on board yesterday and found the leaflet that came with it. It was recommended by a caravan warden to us and proved invaluable as it changed our menu no end. It is small enough to stow and works on a tiny amount of gas. They used to demonstrate them at the Southampton boat show which is where I bought mine but another boat on a mooring near us recently bought one direct. He is wheat and dairy free and his wife thought it would be the answer. It is multi purpose so you can fry/roast/bake. It is the double skillet and is available from D&F Promotions, Green ways Farm, Flaxlands, Carleton Rode, Norfolk. I do not have email or web info but you could try and see if there is anything there. Good luck!

Steve Thanks for showing interest with my problem. For about 95% of the time I don't have access to mains power.I have taken the plunge and purchased a Cobb charcoal oven/BBQ. I'll see how this performs(using it on the stern or jetty). I have considered the Omnia oven(Force 4) but just today a friend recommended a portable cooker that he has. It's called a Remoska electric cooker that is rated at 470 watts that he uses with his generator. This can be viewed by going to www.lakeland.co.uk or Tel.015394 88100. I'd still be interested to hear how other Coeliacs cope. Sreve, again thanks a lot for the interest shown. Regards Bob 2515.

We have a small electric oven in our 25 that fits snugly into the combined hob/sink unit below the grill section. I was thinking of putting a microwave there but this popped up at a boat jumble. It is 240V so can only be used alongside with shore power or elsewhere when the geni is connected. The oven has a small grill of its own, if you need to know make and model I'll have a look this week for you.

Do any members have any ideas or thoughts that might solve a problem I have.I own a Hardy 25 with a combined sink and two burners/grill.This is perfect no complaints.I'm looking to purchase a portable oven basically to do some baking etc.Being a registered Coeliac I'm on a relativley strict diet.(Any other Coeliacs out there how do you manage?)I've been considering the Cobb BBQ or the Omnia oven but I do not have any experience of either.Any feedback will be gratefully received. I can be contacted on 07831 536363. or sales@shepherdphotography.co.uk Thanks. Bob Shepherd.
