For the whole boat approx £2000 plus materials. Sounds a lot but it has transformed her Individually the sliders were most expensive £4 to £500 each D.

Contact the HOC editorial staff ref. this matter. Available (I hope) as a back issue from some months ago in the HOC Magazine, I wrote an article addressing exactly this issue. We converted all our former rubber framed windows on our Pilot to aluminium ones (bespoke frames from Seaglaze of Norfolk), incl. sliders in the wheelhouse. Transformed our Pilot for the better. Regards Dominic.

It gets pretty warm when steering my Pilot (only very occasionally, admittedly!) and it struck me that it would be useful to convert the fixed glazing to the immediate right of the steering wheel to an opener - any one tried it? It would have to be a sliding arrangement, with the front half fixed and the rear sliding over the front, I suppose? Bit like a big version of a series 3 Land Rover window (if that means anything to anyone). Your thoughts, comments and suggestions would be welcome. Regards, Andy.
