Wells, You'll only get about 5-7 knots cruising @ 1GHP and 9 knots max which will raise the bows,squat the stern and create a battleship wash using lots more petrol, probably 2-3 GPH. Best to invest in a 75hp and a set of Lectro tabs.

All dpends on the weight you are carrying on-board , Idont mean to be funny but if you are a heavy guy and carry a lot of fuel / water on-board it will obviously slow her down . On the plus side: with the boat

we are going to fit a 45hp outboard to our pilot 20 for eastury/sea use, to replace the 8hp we have on now for canal use, any ideas on top speed?
